Anvil SSL Configuration Instructions
Configuring Anvil for remote trading over SSL
If you downloaded Anvil from http://anvil.assent.com for the first time and want to trade remotely using the F5 SSL software, you should not have to make any configuration changes to get connected. Some users may need to change their settings if changing their trading location from an office to remote or if upgrading from a legacy version of Anvil.
1) Login to the F5 SSL software using your RAM ID and password. If you have not yet setup the F5 SSL software, please click here for instructions.
2) Once connected to F5, startup Anvil. You should have both F5 and Anvil shortcuts on your desktop.
3) Before logging into Anvil, click on the two downward pointing arrows below the Login and Cancel buttons.
Check that your IP and Port settings match what you see above. If you are not entitled for Options trading, please uncheck the Options data checkbox.
Note: Market Summary Port can be set to either 35197, 35198, 35199.
- 35197 - Full market summary data.
- 35198 - "Lite" market summary data (less bandwidth required, does not send NYSE Level2 and ECN print data).
- 35199 - Full market summary data during Pre and Post market hours. "Lite" during regular trading session.
